James Martinez

James Martinez is delighted to begin his teaching practice at Great Hearts in the pursuit of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty. He will be an Apprentice Teacher for the 3rd grade where he will strive to learn all aspects of instructing scholars. This will be his first teaching year after spending 10 years in the workforce.
Mr. Martinez is a San Antonio native and comes to us with a strong musical background with expertise in percussion, drums, and piano. He is an ardent admirer of live music and enjoys supporting the arts. He acquired a Bachelor of Music degree from Texas Lutheran University, and it was there where his appreciation and understanding of a classical education began.
